OK to start off in the industry, not recommended for the long term
Pros
●Good benefits package ●Friendly coworkers ●Abundant amount of snacks in the kitchen ●Free on site parking (if you drive) ●Pay is decent. Not great, just decent
Cons
●Lack of communication between teams and management, often results in delayed assignments and wasted productivity ● No care for mental health of employees. Often feel overworked and burnt out. You will be put in your place if you speak up ●Not so friendly for non-Chinese speakers ●Work feels repetitive and dry. Unable to utilize your full potential/skill set ●No set tasks. Expect random assignments to be thrown at you from all directions ●"Strongly recommends" employees to work during certain holidays, even during Christmas break. If you refuse, you may be guilted into doing so ●Overtime is frequent for some teams, with no monetary compensation ●Working on site is mandatory ●Poor work/life balance
