Pros

I met a group of nice people to work with. I felt camaraderie with my fellow team mates. The clients were appreciative of the services provided.

Cons

The sales people did not care about my education or status in company. It felt like it was all about money. I was not valued as an employee. Bonuses were given based on the sales person's opinion.

Pros

Free treatments Depending on the center, there is a fun working environment

Cons

Absolutely no work life balance. If you have kids this is not the place for you! If you want to have a decent life outside of work, then this isn't for you! RUN!!!! MANY late nights that they don't tell you about. There are nights where you might have to stay 1-2 past closing time to do a treatment. Laser hair removal is not that serious! Oh and the cleaning of the gauges is very questionable. A gauge will be on someones vagina one minute, and then on someones lip the next. I don't know about that cleaning solution. Go the extra mile and invest in a better sanitizing technique. It's not like Ideal Image doesn't have the money to do so. Blondes are not treatable, but during an assessment, they want you to tell the guest they are treatable so they spend $3000. "Focus on the positive". Then when the guest comes back complaining about no hair loss, they want you to deal with it. Puts the nurses in a bad spot. Many of my guest felt like they were scammed. Makes you feel like a low life for working there. DO NOT GO TO IDEAL IMAGE FOR INJECTABLES!!! Chances are they have no clue what they are doing, or they haven't had an injectables guest in months. Go to a plastic surgeon if you want anything done that has to do with beauty and your face. Ultherapy is a joke! Does not work! To be honest you can go work in the hospital and work way less than you do at Ideal Image, and make just as much money. In the hospital if you need extra money, pick up an extra shift. If you are a new grad nurse, DO NOT go work at Ideal Image right out of school. It will ruin your nursing career. Once you get tired of it and realize you spent a lot of money on nursing school and you're tired of doing the same boring thing, asking the same boring questions, you will then get the rude awakening of no hospitals calling you for an interview. Hospital nursing and being a "nurse" at Ideal Image are two totally different things. The number of years you have been a nurse do not matter, the amount of experience you have as a REAL NURSE matters. When you go to the hospital to work, settings for a laser will not matter. DON'T DO IT!!! If you are a nurse looking for a change, think twice about working for Ideal Image. Once this is on your resume, it hinders more than helps! Trust me! There is only a matter of time before this company sinks. Being all about money and not the safety of the guest is not the way to be.

Pros

The pay used to be good, but that was taken away. You get free treatments that can work if you are the right candidate. The job it's self isn't bad, but the environment is toxic.

Cons

No one is treated the same and all of the rules apply at managements discretion. Speaking up against the beliefs of management will get you fired. This has happened to more than one person. The environment is not professional. The hours are horrible and all employees at the call center are treated as disposable. It is justified as "it's a 100k a year job" the salary is 36k and no benefits. The commission was cut in half so any hopes of making more pretty much went out the window. There have been several bouts of mandatory unpaid overtime as well. If you wanted to keep your job you had to put in the 10 extra hours a week. I'm sure more people will be leaving as well. There is no place to move up.
