Pros

I have been with the company for a year and a half, and the only thing I can think of as a pro is that they overpaid me for what I was doing. I was brought in as one position, but it changed a few months in and the salary stayed the same

Cons

Poor management and Human Resources. This is an Indian run company that does not know US Policies and Employment Law even though they have several HR offices in the US - (Plano TX, Atlanta GA, and Milwaukee WI). Infosys promised to find me a new position if I was removed from a project, and said it was a guaranteed long term thing with the company if I decided to take the job. I took the job, leaving my previous perm position (which was a better job as it turns out). The client decided a year and a half later that they wanted to cut the budget, so I was nixed. I was promised again that Infosys would find me another position within the company. That never happened, and it took nearly a month to get any answers from HR in regards to what was happening. A month after being let go, I am still waiting on my severance package.

Pros

1. Large company, with lot of name and fame. 2. Training period will be tough but at the same time, fun. 3. Best place to start a career with.

Cons

1. Very less scope to get into development projects, because of which most of the resources will be working on legacy technologies. 2. If you are at Onsite, forget about latest technologies. It always depends on the manager. 3. You will be in situations where you have to choose between onsite or promotion. Promotions happen very rarely at onsite, unless you are a pet to your manager.

Pros

none, none, none and none

Cons

a company design for Indians this is the sad story this company is for Indians who would fight to be onsite for people like me who do not care to be onsite is just a pain no raises actually I got a raised of .05 pesos and they even put it in paper and told me congratulations what a scam their certifications are internal so if you get out from there nobody cares also these certifications are so difficult that only by memorizing the information you might pass this company is for really old people like 60 years old who want to retire and never get fired also your salary is equal to years of experience, it does not matter if your experience is 3 years as manager, you are going to the lowest level possible in their organization because of this just to finish the managers are difficult to described they just follow orders without even thinking what they are been told to do most of them do not have any training or experience some do not even speak good English, and the Indians ones are the worst they think you are like their people modern world slaves and they always try to treat you like you are worthless when is the other way to be honest.
