1) Work culture highly dependent on the Business Unit (BU), Project that one works in. It can range from truly delightful to downright awful. 2) One has to be lucky to get into a good project because projects are assigned on random basis more often than not. 3) Since the company is listed in the stock markets, managers tend to work towards a set financial target. Hence, the employee aspirations might be compromised. E.g. it will be very difficult to get leave when they are struggling to meet the target 4) Opportunities highly specific to BU. For e.g some BUs have a lot of onsite opportunities while others have almost nil. 5) Work diversity i.e. getting to work on different domains, technologies might not be that easy. Once an employee has worked on a certain thing, managers hesitate to put them on other fields 6) One can say, the stockholders come first and then the employees. 7) Salary package not very good. An optimist can refer to it as decent. Pay is certainly less than one expects. 8) Appraisal process has some flaws because of large number of employees. Someone who might/might not know you, based on your Project Manager’s recommendation decides the salary hike. Luck comes into play here
