Pros

There are a lot of great minds working on the engineering teams.

Cons

Management and the CEO do not care about its employees and would rather you work 100% of your day than spend it not going insane.

Chaotic but rewarding

Pros

Startup culture and lack of bureaucracy, very cool people around, no micromanagement, independence and ability to make an impact, not just doing work tasks. Pretty fast you can see the actual results of your work. Ownership of things. It's possible to speak up ideas directly to leadership and voice concerns/issues. Pretty transparent company in terms of goals, steps, policies, challenges and direction. Performance review once a year. Perks: provided in-office lunch & dinners and USC membership, unlimited PTOs & remote weeks (but needs to be approved), unlimited budget for self-development books and coaching sessions for managers/employees > 2 years.

Cons

Need to learn the ability to have boundaries to preserve work-life balance and get used to not so usual working hours if not used to it (part of the team is in EU and part of the team is in the US so time difference challenges). As mentioned in the title processes are a little chaotic, but good teamwork makes it a controlled chaotic. No career/personal development plans.

Pros

- Rapidly growing company with a focused leadership team. - Recognizes and promotes talent quickly - more than half of management team, including leadership, came through internal promotions. - Freedom to explore new tech and push for DX. - Lots of cool people to learn from. - Business consistently successful. - The CEO is constantly leveling himself up and is expecting same from everyone on the team.

Cons

- Biased toward fast pace and constant learning; this is not a place to chill. - Working across timezones between EU and SF offices is sometimes a challenge.
