      Company doesn't respect employees' time

      I left because working here wasn't any good. You're basically just signing up to suffer on a daily basis.

      Cons

      Inkitt has absolutely no respect for employees' personal time The leadership couldn't care less about our well-being, and only cares about having their demands met. They expect you to have your work as your number one priority at all times, regardless of your circumstances. It doesn't matter if you have an emergency or whatnot; they will still expect you to prioritize them above all else.

      Pros

      1. The team is lean, which means you get to wear multiple hats and take ownership early. Fanatic ownership is respected and admired - opening doors to better quality of work. 2. I've learned something new almost every week. It's intense and sometimes intimidating, but ultimately fulfilling because you end up doing things you didn’t think you were capable of. 3. The team itself is Inkitt's crown jewel. People are generous with their time, always willing to help, and deeply curious about each other’s work. There’s a genuine culture of idea-sharing without ego or the need for credit.

      Cons

      1. The pace can be intense, and priorities shift quickly. It’s definitely an environment that rewards adaptability. I came from a work environment that was super structured so it was a big change for me personally. 2. Leadership is evolving, and like any fast-growing startup, there’s room for improvement in communication and prioritization. I’ve personally seen the team take feedback seriously and make real efforts to get better. Some of the things I read on here from former employees seem outdated compared to what I've experienced.

      Inkitt is an exciting place to work, especially with the rapid growth and endless opportunities with Galatea TV. The fast-paced environment keeps things dynamic, and there’s ample room for growth and advancement. The company promotes from within, so hard work is recognized and rewarded. If you thrive in a high-energy atmosphere and are eager to grow, Inkitt is a fantastic choice!

      Cons

      One challenge is managing the time difference between the San Francsico and Berlin offices, which can make working hours a bit tough, especially when coordinating with teams across both locations.
