Leadership doesn't listen to workers Lots of turnover from burnout Repeated hiring and firing of whole teams Mediocre people fail up but hard workers get passed over Raises and promotions promised never materialize but new people get hired making significantly more than existing loyal staff Nothing ever changes Will not be good for FAANG

Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry to hear if you felt unsupported in your role and were missing any key information on the conditions that you mentioned. We have recently changed our promotions structure on an annual basis to standardize our processes and individuals are still reviewed on their current performance on a regular basis. We are constantly hiring and salaries are reflected on acquiring competent and skilled workers and each individual is paid based on their given experience and performance. While we understand that the work at Inkitt can be dynamic and challenging at times, we do also offer unlimited paid time off and encourage employees to take the necessary time off from work to always rest and recharge. We encourage open communication, especially with your team managers to address these needs and to hand over tasks and processes if this is necessary.

My colleagues were great, really nice, passionate, and incredibly hardworking people.

Cons

The worst CEO I've ever encountered. Absolutely unable to give constructive feedback, just tells you that he doesn't like any ideas you have, no direction, no kind words, super unmotivating to work for. I watched many colleagues burn out trying to please this man and lose the drive to do any work because of the fear of having to present their ideas to him. He's kind of charming on the surface, but he's not a people person and shouldn't be managing anyone. He's so obsessed with the start-up narrative and being part of Silicon Valley, he moved the HQ to San Francisco in 2022! Like, seriously who's moving a company to San Francisco, one of the most expensive cities to live in 2022, when everyone's getting out? Never mind that everyone in Berlin is now 8hrs ahead, and finding overlapping hours for meetings and 1on1's is more challenging. Other cons are the lack of quality work being done, just read the reviews from the users! The whole thing is a mess. If you want a job where you feel proud of the work you do, this isn't the place for you, you have been warned!

I really enjoyed the onboarding phase. We kicked off the day with a very structured onboarding session given by HR, receiving all practical information and a very interesting "Get to know Inkitt" presentation. I learnt about Inkitt's values, mission, culture etc. from the very first day and it is supernice to see that all Inkitt colleagues are integrating those values daily. I have only been working here for a couple of weeks and I can only say that I get really energised working for this people oriented organisation. Excited for what the future will bring!
