      Pros

      - Getting to connect directly with authors and see the positive impact our team has on their lives inspires me on a daily basis. - Surrounded by creative people who are able to work full-time doing what they love. - Constantly challenged to become better within my role. - Amazing opportunities for growth. - Fun & Supportive team of expats from all over the world. - Have made friendships that will last a lifetime! - Freedom to develop into different roles.

      Cons

      Working at any startup comes with it's challenges and there are times when you'll end up working more than a typical 8h day. But, if you want to do a startup right, you have to become obsessed with it. So I knew what I was getting into. (And am totally obsessed with all things Inkitt. ✨)

      - Very skilled and inspired team who are passionate about what they do - Collaborative while remaining autonomous - Carve your own destiny philosophy - you can contribute to the shaping of the brand as much as you choose - big team investment on wellbeing, personal and professional growth and career progression - the work itself is a balance of creativity and data-led decision-making - the growth of the team means you're working alongside some incredible talent who are always wanting to push the envelope and do great things - work life balance - a lot is asked from you at work; but you're encouraged to maintain your life outside of work as importantly

      Cons

      - not for someone who is wanting to sit back and have a cushy job without putting in effort and maintaining a consistently high standard of work

      Self development is at the core of everything Inkitt does

      Pros

      - Open and transparent culture where all ideas are valued. - An environment of constant development which strives for the best, in terms of the product and for the people it recruits. - Creativity thrives! - A German company that welcomes and nurtures expats and actively integrates them into life in Berlin. (Language classes are available) - An employer that genuinely cares for the wellbeing of it's staff. This includes food, drinks, social events, sports/yoga classes, unlimited self development budget, company retreats, inspiration days etc. - Most importantly, a company who's mission I can align with and be proud of, which is to discover talent and revolutionise publishing and the consumption of books.

      Cons

      - Young company, so doesn't come without teething problems and learning curves. - Ideas fly around quickly, and are acted on quickly, you'll need be prepared and adaptable to change.
