A company that has been in transition and continues with the ICE purchase.

Pros

Challenging work, good personal branding working for such a long established exchange globally. Good salary, bonus and benefits. Lots of opportunity to participate in charitable events.

Cons

The current environment is one of uncertainty since the ICE purchase and the continuation of eroding market share. So this adds up to no sense of job security.

Pros

Great colleagues and a sense of empowerment to do your best work. Ability to voice your opinion without fear of retaliation, good benefits, volunteer opportunities and flexible work environments, such as teleworking.

Cons

Acquired by Intercontinental Exchange. Very different work culture. Seems to value keeping your head down and working long hours. At first glance very "Dickensian" though early days yet. Hopefully morale will improve (without any flogging).
