Pros

Competitive pay for all roles, great health benefits, lots of internal opportunities. Great place to work if you thrive off of being career driven.

Cons

Do not work here if you just want to get in, do your job, and get out. Do not work here if you easily get offended- lots of foul mouths and back stabbing amongst employees. JBS falls somewhere between a PG-13 to rated R workplace. The expected mentality at JBS is to work around the clock. Taking legally allowed breaks is unspokenly frowned upon and almost bizarre to leadership that you would do such a thing. This company is EXTREMELY profit driven at the cost of employees work/life balance. Culture and values are pushed but not actually practiced.

Pros

1. Love the fast paced environment in IT. This company will be ideal for someone who loves working lean and agile 2. Customer support and annual reviews provided by the users for the IT team is taken very seriously. 3. Non-SAP teams can enjoy occasional travel to manufacturing sites for project implementations. 4. Global teams from from Mexico, Australia, UK, Canada requires IT collaboration from the US 5. Free MEAT goodies during holiday seasons! 6. Job Security (strictly dependent on performance and people skills)

Cons

1. Very Decent pay. (Not competitive per industry standards). Little to no benefits / perks. They identify less number of federal holidays as compared to others. 2. Supporting legacy applications (especially those that are not industry favorites) can be a step-back for young IT professionals 3. Company is struggling to adopt Work From Home model for IT professionals 4. Lean and agile means one has to own more projects and put long hours.
