Nice, but could be a lot nicer.

Pros

It's a very diversified company so negative trends in one industry don't usually impact the overall health of the company.

Cons

Health benefits continue to go downwards (which is happening across the US as well). Management sometimes seems to not see the big picture and has a tendency to ignore technical advice in order to produce flashy things which most people don't use or care about.

Pros

Strong sense of camaraderie among peers; teammates support each other because everyone is navigating the same challenges.

Cons

Lack of respect for employees, including public criticism or shaming in front of peers, which creates a hostile environment. Leadership messaging around “role clarity” and “wellbeing” does not match day-to-day expectations (e.g., strict butt-in-seat culture, mandatory early-morning meetings). Unrealistic deadlines, especially around year-end, create constant fire drills and burnout. Supplier relationships are frequently strained to close short-term financial gaps, which impacts long-term trust and partnership. Culture is highly competitive and can feel self-serving, often framed as “coaching” rather than genuine support or development. Despite messaging about cultural change, day-to-day actions and meetings remain narrowly focused on savings at the expense of people and process (even if most toxic individuals have been moved to other teams, ie. Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability team)
