Pros

Overall work life balance is key within pretty much everyone I was in contact with. The credo and company culture is absolutely a reality within the day to day business

Cons

Everyone seems to have a hidden agenda and maybe because the company is widely populated by women it also comes the pros but also the cons. This is a company where everyone competes hardly but not in a transparent way. In order to grow you definatelly has to become part of a small petit group.

Pros

Extremelly diversified company within the health care market, providing chances for exposure to diverse business segments and regions; Focus on customers/patients first through the Credo values; People tend to be very friendly and open.

Cons

It has a complex structure of regional / local positions that can get in the way of some projects / initiatives; Multi-business (franchises) structure is also somewhat complicated to follow if you are in a functional area such as HR, Finance or Supply Chain; Extremelly reduced headcount positions for the Latin American business of the MD&D sector creates unbalance between Credo sayings and the practice for employee / work-life balance; Lack of long-term vision from the Latin American leadership - focus is currently given only to the financial objectives; More politics & behind-the-scene decisions than in the average of other companies- probably driven by lack of proper communication from Senior Management.

Pros

Good salary. Great development opportunities, especially if you are career-oriented. Lots of opportunities to develop technical skills.

Cons

Your career will basically be dictated by how well you make social connections in the company, the downside of this is that you'll see a lot of unqualified people in management positions. Inefficient processes, extremely bureaucratic and conservative, it takes a very long time to get things done. You'll be flooded with activities outside your scope, just because of inefficient systems, processes and people. The company has an overload of employee evaluation cycles and they can be confusing and just too much. Full of its own terms and acronyms, so much it can be very complex to understand the company. It has a strong meeting culture, so you'll spend most of your day in meetings and have to work extra hours to answer to emails and get work done. Management is mostly white, senior men. Although it advertises diversity & inclusion, you rarely see it being practiced. HR is not really there to support employees, it's mostly about talent acquisition.
