This is a union position so you have scheduled raises yearly. Overtime is not really a thing for this position as any OT would need to be approved by the government. The job is on a military base and thus the hiring process is long due to the background checks.

This is a union position so your performance only keeps you employed, and will not earn you a bigger raise or bonus.

Good projects, oversea opportunities. Office and facilities.

Department Manager very much endorses the lunchtime drinking culture, penalizes those that do not participate .... Promotions and pay increase based on social / drinking attendance and not ability, skill or professionalism. If you drink and talk about rugby you will go far, blue eyed boys are generally favored. Brown folk are useful for getting the job done. CEO is out of touch and ruthless.
