Pros

Good company for growing fast if you know the right people, but if you don't then you won't go anywhere. Not many pros for this company

Cons

Locations are challenging especially in China, the Chinese owners are often very difficult, have unrealistic ideas on Hotels. Many of the hotels in China are not of 5 star standard. Human Resource, Kempinski lacks greatly in this area. Getting work Visas for countries is very difficult, as often the HR director has no idea on what to do. There is no structure for HR department, no rules or guidelines from corporate office. Kempinski shows little care for loyal employees who have worked for them a long time. There is a real Boys club mentality in the upper management, if you don't fit in with this group you won't go anywhere.

Pros

Pros? I do not know any.

Cons

No respect for employees, irresponsible management. I was offered a role at one of their hotels after 1+ month long process, at which I handed in my 1 month's notice to former employer and was about to start 4 days later when I received a call from HR: they had miscalculated and had no budget to recruit after all. They only offered me 2 weeks pay compensation, which is nothing when you quit your stable job and then have nowhere to go to.
