Pros

salary is definitely appropriate for the position that you are hired at. You are not micro managed. Allowed to take the bull by the horns and work on large projects in which you are seen quite highly in the industry.

Cons

In recent years the annual salary increases have significantly decreased due to budget constraints. Seems to be once you reach a certain level within the company you are stuck there. Often hire "director" level and about from outside the company.

Pros

Good working hours, most of the people are nice to work with, good location, some career perks such as free Kleenex products.

Cons

Office is old and stale, not a productive environment to work in. Some senior managers are obnoxious and not very helpful nor pleasant to deal with.

Pros

- Some good colleagues who care about driving the business forward - decent benefits - some work sites located in great locations

Cons

- Tom Falk's performance management system has killed morale and driven great employees out - Senior leadership makes too many short term decisions to bring in the quarter for Wall Street, little long term vision - Leadership occasionally requests employee feedback on how to improve the company to make people believe they are listening but employee input is rarely used to make Kimberly-Clark a more enjoyable place to work like it used to be - Technical expertise is not valued in KC anymore, everybody is expected to be jack of all trades master of none - Too much emphasis on systems and how work gets done instead of stepping outside the box and getting results
