Pros

Exciting experience. Motivating nature. Gives you that at home gym feeling. Chance to meet new people. Great coworkers. Gym has everything from basktball courts, rock climbing walls, jacuzzis, indoor and outdoor pools, hair/nail salon, and even a cafe.

Cons

Alot of standing and walking around.

- Competitive culture - Moves very fast! Every day is different. - Free club membership & employee discounts - Direct access to senior leaders and executive teams - Strong vision for growth - Promotion opportunities if you work hard and ask to move up - Casual dress code (jeans/fitness gear)

Cons

- Work/life balance is tough to find in some departments - Very high expectations. Expect to work hard. - Projects can change instantly - you need to be adaptable.

Pros

The members at the club were great and it was a pleasure teaching. It is a beautiful, clean facility. They also extend free membership to their employees which is a nice perk.

Cons

The management at Life Time is very challenged. There is little to no communication between department heads and instructors. There were several occasions that I did not get paid and trying to straighten it out was a mess. It took months and countless calls to their corporate offices. Maybe the con to working at a huge corporate gym??? They also expect a lot of non compensated time commitments and for a part-time job it was just ridiculous. Maybe best suited for people without kids.
