Pros

Loved being a personal trainer and pilates coordinator, helping people out of pain and to reach their goals. Free membership for myself but not my family.

Cons

Continuing education that lifetime is trying to brand, that would have no Baring I'm the real world. Lack of communication with upper management. Discrimination if you are a female with children.

Pros

free membership, you get to bring your kids with you to work (for those of you that have them)

Cons

extremely unprofessional environment, lack of respect, horrible hourly pay, shift coverage, mandatory holidays with no holiday pay, mandatory meetings at night, lack of communication, management is lazy and unprofessional at best.

Pros

Good equipment, facilities, other co-workers are nice.....

Cons

Pay for trainers is all commission based. You can bust your butt and not really get paid, then have to pay off draw if you don't make a certain amount per hour based on what you sell. As a result trainers come off as car salesmen just trying to sell training and devices, lab tests, whatever, that clients may not necessarily need so they can make money. Doing right by the client isn't valued.
