I was interviewed last month and cleared Technical round and to my disbelief I was finally informed by piping HOD that I wont be receiving any hike as my current salary is higher than similar batch employees. I've have been completely misguided by HR. Prior to interview, I clearly informed them about my current salary and my expectation of 30-40% hike. After getting positive reply from HR ,I took a day leave just to attend the interview and spend lot of money in traveling. I wrote mails to Senior HR asking for justification. They simply ignored my mail. My question was....Why was I not informed properly that I'll be only offered lesser than what I am getting currently even after clearing Technical round.
