My manager is very nice. He taught me many things about actuaries and life. Colleagues are friendly, and I felt very comfortable working there.

Cons

Because it is a Germany company, it is very conservative. Also, there are many senior people in insurance company.

Bureaucratic. Internally focused. Ability to play internal politics is essential for promotion. Relationship with parent Company has heavy influence and can be difficult to manage depending on job role.
