Pros

Insurance costs are low, 401k matching is okay

Cons

You will work a lot of hours. They have no standards, processes, etc. Everything is managed by ad hoc and thus it is very hard to understand how to get things done. If you have kids, don't think you will get a lot of flexibility. Also do not trust your job is as advertised. They change plans so often you can come in for A and do B. You will not hear feedback unless it is negative. There are almost no promotional opportunities unless you relocate to Portland. That's the way they like to be. Go to Portland then leave and go elsewhere. They have what they call a matrix environment. Matrix means you will have 2 bosses and they may not talk. Truth be told, how you appear, how often you appear, etc. will be used more than accomplishments. The great work environment you hear about is for the hourly. Turnover at supervisor and above is huge. Don't believe me. Use this site, filter by memphis and full time then see the scores.

Pros

Successful brand. Very interesting and diverse products. Strong marketing. Good benefits including retirement plan , vacation, PTO. Great place to apply and develop your ideas.

Cons

First job in my 25 years of my professional work that I experienced bullying and discrimination at work just because the way I look and/or my accent . Even though my work was noted to contribute significantly to goals established and even co-author a patent for the golf division, I was not respected . It took a while to understand what was happening until I realized that I was been mistreated. I hurried to find other opportunity , family and I had to relocate to other State. Very sad.

Pros

Nike has tremendous resources and capabilities in its core areas, as you'd expect from a company of its size and history. The talent pool is very impressive, and there are many wonderful people there who enjoy and believe in what they do. The benefits are good on the whole, and when the company lives up to its own ideals, it can do great things.

Cons

Very few in leadership understand tech or data, but they insist it's the company's future. The yearly review process is awful: grueling and petty, and destructive to all the supposed attempts at employee development. The relentless internal propaganda can be nauseating. The lofty ideals (like the 11 maxims) are pounded into you, but they're used to justify mundane business actions more often than they're used to inspire or elevate.
