Pros

the people, the work, the product-- all world class. hard to compete with the environment-- the campus, the gym, the cafeterias, etc. that enhance the work, the projects and delivering to the consumer.

Cons

remember, Nike is a Company.... and while you may be totally invested in it, the company may not be invested in you. Be smart- make good moves and remember not to keep all your eggs in one basket-- develop outside interests, friends, dry-cleaners.

Pros

Flat hierarchy and opportunities to grow (takes time and dedication though) Work hard and get rewarded We play hard too If an opportunity to travel comes your way the experience is amazing and much more than just another business trip Great Corporate Culture, smart, innovative and exciting Proud of Girl Effect and other Global "do the right thing"initiatives we support Sport and team orientated Flexible hours, work for home and other work life balance technologies available Excellent facilities, 3 canteens, full gym and major sporting facilities, 1 hour a day built in to sport and flexible timing Focus more on results than being just seen to be attending Team spirit normally high and very supportive

Cons

As mentioned by others;networking can either help you along or get in your way If Snr Management are aligned to your work it is a dream, but an individual or group can stifle or kill good work or cause us to lose talented people, which is a shame as it is NOT in our culture to lose the best but bad luck and you lose time moving sideways to get around the bad apple (low accountability can be part of the problem but employee feedback technology is on the way to tackle this) Image is off a fast track rise through the ranks but reality is a normal US Corporation, it takes time and hard work and people can get stuck Long hours and not high payers, but if you enjoy the environment then this is not as bad as it sounds (non-$ compensation is good and leavers often say they ultimately miss this when chasing higher $'s)
