Pros

Impressive brand to work for because there is a lot of recognition and respect. Fast paced environment keeps it exciting. Great benefits for working parents including paid maternity/paternity, generous time off and sick days. Pay is generally good depending on role. Business formal culture with a strong foundation in ethics. A formal suite and tie environment.

Cons

Career advancement is tough especially if you not in one of the larger offices (NYC) or are remote. Fast paced environment while exciting can also wear you down quickly. The business changes constantly with multiple re-orgs. It's a competitive environment, not very inclusive. In general, working from home is looked down upon unless you are in sales and don't live near a major office.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are very proud of our brand and the positive recognition we receive every day. We are also very proud of our hard-working employees and are continuously looking to improve our benefit offerings to support and enable our people. Internal Mobility is important to Nasdaq, as not only is it an opportunity for individual growth, it is also key to knowledge transfer and the continuous development of our organization, that’s why all job openings are advertised on our intranet site and our employees are encouraged to take advantage of those opportunities.

Pros

Looks good on a resume

Cons

Working paid hours are 40 but if you do not give 60-80 a week you are not good enough. Literally clocking 8h a day is less valuable than solving more problems than your colleagues do clocking 12h but solving half of what you've done. UK is the best, the rest is for doing the real job cheaper. Understaffed is a way of life. Nevertheless your work will always be "reasonable" never over the top.
