Do yourself a favor and AVOID this company at all costs! If you are looking for respect, career growth, professionalism in the workshop, equality, work life balance, ability to think for yourself, or transparency in communication, this is not the place for you. Working in the finance team at this company has been the worst experience in my career. Kevin Ha is leading this department and is by far the worst manager/leader you could ever meet. He sets you up for failure; he will say one thing to your face but always have a hidden agenda in the background. He makes you believe that you have career growth opportunities, and autonomy in your work; however, will not listen to ideas unless they are the same as his own. He will be upset if you want to think for yourself and truly expects you to be a monkey and follow his instructions. At times, even following his instructions, it will not be good enough. Time and time again, he will attack your self-esteem, make you question your self-worth, and not have a care in the world about this (or is oblivious to this at all). He will pride himself in his leadership skills however no one on his immediate team has ever liked working for him. He will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat if that means he will not look bad in front of the executive leadership. In addition, due to his narrow minded thinking and lack of knowledge – he will ask for impossible requests and will be upset if you don't deliver. Irrespective of appropriate communication regarding the challenges faced, he will ignore all of it yet pretend he knows what you're talking about. Needless to say, if there was an award for Horrible Boss of the year, the award would go to Kevin Ha. Please save yourself from future pain.
