Pros

I have been with Niantic for several years. From my experience, the executive team at Niantic is bright, seasoned, and very humble. In addition, they have some of the smartest people in the world focused on 3-D mapping and computer vision. The company is working on several inspiring projects that bring people together in the real world to explore, exercise, and make friends. I would also add that Niantic is a great place for working parents and new parents. The policies and support for parents are second to none.

Cons

Working with this team will definitely push you to do your best work, and the environment is such that you will have a lot of fun while doing it.

-If you struggle with change or ambiguity, this could be a challenging environment. However, I'm not really certain there are any companies in the world we live in where you won't experience that!

Pros

-Exciting projects and products coming down the pipeline -Team is growing and lots of resources being greenlit (externally and internally) -The people are the strongest asset of this company, definitely keep investing in them!

Cons

-Lack of focus on what the business goals are: is it mapping, gaming, other? We can't reasonably do it all. -Still struggling to break through the noise in consumer and industry. Hopefully with a few new launches and additional marketing efforts that can turn around.
