An excellent studio with technology and processes on the edge of tech and magic, Niantic brings big ideas to life. In the art field for this company there's lots of room to grow and take on new challenges as well as focus down hard on the skills you come in with. A very open and fun company, Niantic strives to keep the process transparent and the employees very vertically mobile in terms of opportunity.

Cons

Haven't experienced any yet, keep up the good work and focus on interesting projects that get devs and players out of their seats.

Pros

I've only been here a few months, but I'm enjoying: - the work - work/life balance - being able to work from home, when necessary - compensation - relaxed office culture - lunch is provided 5 days a week, and bagels are provided on Wednesdays

Cons

Niantic is well known for Ingress and Pokemon Go. If you're not a fan of those games, you probably don't want to work here.
