Pros

No pros, you get basic Macbook pro M1, no discount for employees on oyo bookings, no job security, work life is not present.

Cons

The top management is chaotic, unstable here. They change projects overnight, pushes every single project to be delivered urgently, stretch / overwork they don't care. They layed off about 20% - 30% tech workforce in Aug, 2022 with various reason based on bad performance, cost optimization . Even people who joined in the last 6 months were asked to put down resignation because the company can't pay them. It's unfortunate and demotivating environment here. Hope I will be able to help someone who is reading this here.

Pros

Pay above market rate. I managed to escape during a pandemic when the job market was really tough.

Cons

Leadership is appalling. Ive never experienced anything like it. The company has no strategy or direction. They don’t listen to skilled and experienced individuals that they have in the UK business that really understand the market in the UK, they just adopt a blanket approach that works in India, despite there being fundamental differences to the routes to market and the way people buy travel in the UK. I’ve never hated waking up for work so much, ever. Work life balance is a joke, with my manager promoting me being available by phone ‘24/7’ to the external world. Waking up to my work phone ringing with calls from India in the middle of the night. I left feeling numb after this place sucked the life out of me. You spend your whole time fighting with people over processes that are put in place to drive control, but that don’t make sense and completely prevent you from being able to do your job. They over hired and then made everyone redundant, which was decided pre-pandemic and then culled off everyone else as the pandemic hit, leaving very few of us and expected the same level of output. The platform that they sell to hoteliers is appalling, not fit for purpose and not suitable for how 90% of hotels are run in the UK. Many of the senior leaders are crooks that think bribery is acceptable, have no people skills and no idea about the market, the law, how successful UK based hospitality businesses are run.
