Pros

There aren’t any I can think of. It gets worse every day. They don’t care about ANYONE, other than shareholders.

Cons

Nearly everything… after 10 years, my performance reviews raise for last year was 0.5% or $0.12. They are completely demeaning and it’s hard to have any self esteem or to Feel like you matter, even at a local level. Local managers ALSO have to deal with the corporate-decided policies, so everything is in the hands of an anonymous executive who has likely NEVER done your difficult job. Worst insurance I’ve ever had… and it’s United Healthcare bc it HAS to be United Healthcare bc they own Optum. Repulsive and monopolistic in the most transparent ways.
