      In the 11 years I was employed by Optum I was provided with ample opportunities for professional growth and learning about how a large corporation endeavors to stay in touch with the members it serves and the employees providing the service. Optum/United Health work was worthwhile and rewarding in the context of making a positive difference in the lives of people with mental health needs.

      Such a large corporation has challenges with effective information sharing and communicating with the vast number of employees in the work force.
