Pros

- Decent commute to a nice area - Flex start for those who like to come in super-early in the morning, and later in the morning - Decent benefits - Average pay for the position - Time off, when needed, isn't usually a big issue to obtain--managers are good at working with you on this - Office is of decent quality/condition, as it's fairly new/renovated

Cons

- Zero communication between departments, and zero communication between managers and employees. - Constant policy changes, usually negatively impacting team members - Very political office environment, expect managers to come to you with gossip they hear from other employees--and watch what you say or who you joke around with - Catty and chatty managers - Little to no training given for the position, expect to largely learn yourself - Feedback ignored by management - More than one department has been laid off, and the office was getting emptier by the month, so little job security - Managers uninterested in working with you to resolve issues - Going above and beyond is unappreciated - Zero room for progress--promotions are gained by seniority (years worked) or political maneuvering, not merit - Little to no overtime opportunities - Completely aloof management--they never bother to ask for feedback, and most of them have little idea of what actually goes on beneath them - Just a general atmosphere of hostility and low motivation, almost entirely the fault of lackluster management
