Pros

Learning latest technologies Working with the best talents If you are working on Oracle technologies, this is the place to be Lot to learn about working on and managing mega projects Lot of scope to learn about global business, impacts and system integration Easy for everyone to recognize the company you work for - needs no introduction

Cons

Too large a company Too much inertia Focussed too much on the bottomline Very sensitive to Wall St Insatiable urge to buy new companies A confusing array of products available to offer to customer Sort of glass ceiling for individual contributors seem to exist

Pros

It produces a very good products in different areas. I am working in Apps division and this division use many of Oracle's best technologies.

Cons

rules and requirements are not transparent and they are different for different people. Management is kind of random - they forget about people for a while and then produce some decisions.

Pros

It's a big company so there are a lot for resources available to tap. A lot of people seem to have been around for awhile and people don't seem to be too worried about getting laid off. Great telecommuting policy (if it's ok with your manager).

Cons

It's a big company so sometimes it's hard to be noticed. Pay is just average or maybe slightly below average. Because many people have been around for awhile, there's resistance to change and many are stuck in their old ways. Doesn't seem to be a lot of innovation going on.
