Take Away and Delivery FIX IT

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Great co-workers and make work fun to be at

Cons

Since delivery started take away has significantly taken a loss on our wages. We are a busy store already and to throw deivery in their does boost sales but it just doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

Curbside/To-Go

Pros

Don't have menu test, easy job to get(high turn over rate)

Cons

Extremely stressful and toxic environment. Around $11-$13/hr but only 25hr/week. Only work at night. Too little workers for volume = extreme stress & decent money. More people working = less stress but very little money. Managers behave poorly and unfairly, regularly talk badly about employees and share employees pursonal information. Company doesn't care about employees, only selfish financial gain. Outback isn't made for delivery, their processes could be compared to a disfunctional start up company. Very little room for advancement unless you have a particularly good manager. Managers place blame on the wrong people and don't care about To-Go unless something goes wrong, then To-Go is blamed and told that we're incompetent. Poor pay, lack training, poor social environment, poor management and unrealistic expectantions - along with disfunctional methods.

Pros

familial as a lot of restaurants can be, laid back, fun environment.

Cons

with the laid back and fun comes a non chalant management team, who let employees feel like they have no voice if it puts them out in any way. also, business was dead as hell and they still would over schedule servers. I didnt make $600 in 2 weeks.
