Pros

Guests are good, treated better by most guests than compared to other restaurants. Some scratch food (maybe 30%) The hourly team is family, we all struggle together dealing with the constant changes and misinformation from corporate. We survive together.

Cons

Working 12+ hours is written into the job description. Frequently worked 14-16 hour days. Usually work 6 days a week. Abuse of salary management. No work life balance. Low pay compared to industry averages. No room for advancement, as JVP won't transfer or promote managers outside of his area.
