You can't really develop if you are not the part of the "clan".
No bonuses or salary raise for the past 3 years, although all my skills are developed. Yet, hearing constantly promises.
Ask and diplomatically forced to do more in order to be in a "Achieved expectation" group at your performance review. Minor mistakes which are ordinary are put on a pedestal, while your achievements don't shine bright as they should.
Your development strictly depends on your manager and if he/she feels "threaten" by it, he/she will constantly delay answers or sabotage your development, pretending not to hear your complains or unhappiness. You need to constantly remind them you are not happy and when you say you will resign if nothing changes, perhaps they will think about it? I know cases where they totally ignored the employee even then.
The whole company functions by the "sycophant" system. If you are not like that, there is no development for you.
You can't develop if you don't do management. Not all of us are built for that and not all of us want that. That is not a reason we should work under the same conditions for 3 years, don't you agree?
