I've worked at PLOS since 2009 and am familiar with both the UK and US offices. I've worked at another science publisher in an editorial position and in science administration for another company and I can truly say PLOS is an excellent place to work. I often say I came for the mission and stayed for the people. Near the river and Jesus Green in Cambridge and the Embarcadero in SF, so nice parks and water outside both offices for enjoyable lunch breaks -Monthly all staff meetings ensure regular communication from the executive team to the entire staff
