      Disappointing and sometimes scary

      Pros

      Cool mission and there are some really amazing people here. People work hard but also have fun and most of the staff get along really well with each other.

      Cons

      Badly managed, people disappear with no explanation, projects and priorities change all the time again without any explanation, C-level people don't seem to know what they are doing and like to hold a lot of secret meetings. Nothing real ever gets communicated to the staff from them or the Board. All the best staff are talking about leaving or have left.

      -Overworked. When an coworker leaves there is even more work because you are left picking up all their work for months - Same voices always getting heard and recognized - Questionable turnover - Office politics - Little career advancement opportunity

      Some excellent people are involved.

      Cons

      It's a large company run with an academic mentality, which means it's very poorly organised and good practice goes unnoticed. Everyone talented is leaving or has left in the last few years. That speaks volumes.
