Pros
There seem to be interesting events every day at PayPal where opportunities to make a difference are plentiful. Provided you are in a group that supports self initiative, innovation and enthusiasm. Great People to work with. Great products. It is fun and challenging.
Cons
Change is a constant. Changing our ways for the better is great if time is given for those changes to settle in and bear fruits. When to pivot the company's direction is key. Most employees just assume certain times of the year changes will happen. Hence the promise to make things better because of the change loose impact. This causes certain level mistrust in the changes introduced.
