Pros

Very colourful and vibrant office; has a pulp shelf offering free books

Cons

Very female-heavy staff working under mostly male management; office can feel very cliquey and unwelcoming, especially for freelancers

Wonderful Company

Pros

Everyone cares about books, the company mission, and each other. Colleagues are absolutely wonderful.

Cons

The pay is terrible. No room for advancement. The merger is ongoing, so downsizing is unfortunately still happening in little spurts.

Pros

Great colleagues, nice benefits, and lots of time off. This is a company that loves books.

Cons

Terrible pay, difficult to maintain work-life balance, hard to advance--it's a waiting game.
