      Great pay, great benefits, poor work life balance.

      Pros

      PepsiCo pays well and the benefits are great. The people I work with are friendly. It's a very diversified environment, in race and age. The opportunity for advancement is high.

      Cons

      There is no work/life balance. I work third shift hours and tend to work weekends frequently. Holidays such as the 4th of July and Memorial Day are rarely observed due to the nature of the work. There is no job security. Since the products PepsiCo produce could be considered more of a luxury than a staple, expect the company to mirror the economy.

      Pros

      The people I work are supportive and share knowledge. The people in my department are general friendly and inclusive. I have been availed opportunities to grow my skills here, so that is probably the most important aspect of working here. I have to enjoy my work even though it can be stressful at times.

      Cons

      Promotions based on favoritism rather than actual work ethic or performance. My manager did not provide me with additional information as to what was happening in our department, which made me feel I was not part of the team. I had to find out from others what was going on in my own department.

      Pros

      The product innovations are clearly ahead of the competition. The company has figured out what consumers are looking for. Pepsi continues to try different things which appeal to a wide demographic.

      Cons

      Respect and upper management. Pepsi has went 10 years backwards. The company that was built with a right side up philosphy, putting the employee on top and listening to ideas and the voices of our customers have been taken over by Dictatorship. Employees are scared and the customers are beginning to notice. The workforce is becoming negative and are not being heard. Threats of being fired are a daily reminder.
