Pros
The work is generally not complicated, free and discounted food. My location is in a college town, so most of the employees are my age and are easy to get along with.
Cons
A promotion or raise is highly unlikely, your managers are allowed to make you stay after a shift, the turnover in my store is very high aka people call out of shifts all of the time and you end up doing all of the work. Also, they underschedule employees so they don't have to pay so many people at once. As a result, busy nights may entail you spending two hours cleaning after close. The tips you receive do not in any way compensate you for the work you do, people are not very friendly to you. You can only ask off work for "legitimate" reasons. I'm only working here because I cannot find another job, I can't wait to leave.
