Pros

While the company was part of corporate officeit was good team effort and pride to take the company foward at all levels

Cons

They were good in many aspect when it was corporate, but whene they franchaiced the store everything was gone bad, they cut labour so you(manager) had to work not only for your duties but for all the people they let go, and benefit went down.

Pros

The number one reason to work at Pizza Hut, in my opinion, is the experience. It is a pretty decent first job out of high school. The quality of people that work there are not the best, so it's incredibly easy to advance your position. I went from a driver (the lowest) to an Assistant Manager in a year. It's an extremely good investment because the fast promotion and management experience looks great on a young resume. In my experience, the management seems to have good intention for everyone in the store, and are more than willing to help their employees grow. If you want to sacrifice most of your social life, it's easy to rack in tons of hours passed what you are scheduled. (see cons list)

Cons

The pay is absolutely terrible. I haven't heard of a fast food restaurant that pays less than what Pizza Hit pays its Shift/Assistant management positions. The quality of the people that work there reflect the extremely low pay. The employees are (generally) pretty lazy and seem to think that complaining about other employees will make themselves look better. It's quite annoying, but as long as you do your job and work hard, the management will see passed the other employees' complaints. THE HOURS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE. If you want to do well within the company, you'll have to sacrifice most of your personal life for a while. You'll work morning shifts one day, closing shifts the next, and mid shifts the day after that. On top of all of that, you get called in early 75% of the time, and you NEVER leave when you're scheduled to leave. NEVER. The turnover rate in the store is incredibly high. New people come and go just about every month. It's a pretty difficult/stressful job for such a low pay. The company has an intense 3-strike progressive discipline structure. It's very easy for management to find reasons to fire one of their employees if, for whatever reason, they want to. There are no benefits below being the General Manager. Assistant Managers get payed time off, but Shift Managers do not.
