Pros
Playlist has been doing fantastic, hiring more devs when many tech companies are downsizing. I fully believe this is because the company shows genuine care for its employees. The benefits package is top-notch, work-life balance is hard to beat, Flexible Time Off that is actually flexible and often used (most companies with FTO, employees actually use LESS time off due to social pressure). More importantly, the company cares about you as a person and not as a Productivity Machine. There are numerous social and cultural groups that help diversify and strengthen everyone, from LGBTQ, Hispanic, Jewish, Women, Neurodivergent - Playlist thrives on different voices and different backgrounds all sharing and contributing.
Cons
It's a big company, which comes with more bureaucracy and red tape. They try their best to cut through it, but it's still there, for better or for worse.
