      good brand in your resume global opportunities (offices in almost every country in the world) work-life balance is good enough

      P&G has been a great place to learn the core CPG Marketing Skills but it has become a slow place to get promoted.

      Pros

      Great place to learn the core marketing skills that will be invaluable in any marketing or GM type role. Good GM training with significant early responsibility on projects. Good cross-functional exposure - you learn to develop strong influencing skills or you will sink. Good overall compensation package, especially for MBAs and the very low cost of living in Cincinnati.

      Cons

      It is becoming ever more process oriented. This largely depends on the brand you work on but too often the proces trumps the intent. the promotion time lines have increased so you're looking at 10 years to get to Director (athough that is significant responsibility - P&L for a Billion Dollar brand)

      The brand name of the Company provides a great brand recognition. Additionally, the people that work there are very friendly and the working environment is relaxed

      Cons

      There is a lack of direction in terms of career progression and advancement, however, everything else is very positive, and I have nothing to complain about.
