Pros

Lot of career opportunities, stable company even in bad times, great training ground for top-notch skills, great diversity, flexible benefits, work-life balance options, good compensation, good company values.

Cons

Very political, very hierarchal, sometimes not respectful/appreciative of those in lower positions doing hard work, R&D technical career system is flawed, competitive system can inhibit teamwork/synergy.

Pros

There are always new challenges to face that test your job skills. As a result, you not only build upon your current skills, but gain the confidence to face ongoing challenges.

Cons

There are too many challenges at once. So much so, that you feel you cannot apply yourself as you would like to because you have to move on to the next project. Sometimes I feel like no matter what I do or how hard I work it will never be enough, because so many projects are left undone and then re-visited later. It’s frustrating and I believe sometimes unproductive in the long run.
