Pros

Practical experience and benefits. It's very well respected in the industry.

Cons

Sometimes feels like the military- very structured. Not as open to how newly absorbed companies do things. Many employees float from assignment to assignment and are so concerned with their promotability they step all other others on their way up.

Pros

Great opportunity for learning and development. Learn a lot about the business, custoemers, consumers. Opportunity to learn and apply technical skills. You get a lot of ownership of your area of responsibility and get to work with and learn from very talented managers and co-workers.

Cons

Lots of pressure to perform well, fierce competition from peers for promotions, 1 ratings. Tons of complexity and burocracy, lots of different systems from where to pull data, lots of ad-hot analyses done in spreadsheets. Need to compromise Work-life balance to get ahead.
