I was surprised how many people have been waiting months for Proxify to find them a suitable position. Proxify is still accepting new candidates on a daily level, despite and blatantly ignoring the outrage from their community. Their platform for candidates, judging by the overall impression, is written by a bunch of juniors, full of bugs, inconsistencies, and with terrible UX. The process of "hunting" for a position goes like this: 1. Check the opportunities page 2. Just stare at the opportunities that you can't apply for, cause you are missing 'REST-API' or some other nonsense listed requirement on your profile 3. Reach out to your community manager to add technologies in order to apply for jobs 4. Back to step 2. If you actually manage to apply for a position, the process is the following: 1. Apply 2. You'll see the message "We are, soon, going to start shortlisting for this recruitment" 3. Now it 99% of the cases, they are just gonna proceed with shortlisted candidates, which obviously will never include you, and you are back at step 1. OR by some miracle, you proceed to step 4. 4. Have a matching meeting with Proxify's client managers, and have meeting "arranged" with the actual client 5. Wait a couple of weeks only to find out that you've gotten ghosted by the client 6. Back to step 1. Also, people who somehow made it to the client meeting, have complained that they had go through technical interview stages, again! Which should not be the case, since Proxify is explicitly saying that they "vouch" for you.

Lack of Community Engagement: This company demonstrates zero initiative or interest in engaging with the community or contributing to any collective betterment. Their platform is a mess to the point it became funny. The organization seems to have little respect for the time of job applicants. Waiting periods are long, and there is usually no clear communication on the status of applications. One of the most disappointing aspects is their willingness to lie about the stage of job applications. They give false hope by assuring candidates that they are under active consideration, while in reality, this does not appear to be the case. Despite already having more candidates than they can place, the company continues to accept new applications. This exacerbates the level of competition and further diminishes the chance of finding a suitable position for existing applicants. If you value your time and are looking for a company that treats you with respect, this is not the place for you.
