Pros

- Not stressful - Decent pay for a bank - Generally good managers and supportive business leaders

Cons

- Bureaucratic - No innovation - Mangers chase budgets and head counts which leads to some really bad developers being hired - Way too many program and project managers

Pros

1 Free Bank Account (if that even counts)

Cons

The list is endless, but the hghlights are: - Low Salary - Pay for half your benefits - No growth opportunity - 0.01% Yearly Increase - Make sure to train your replacements - Don't forget, to advance you need to suck up to management or have a good higher up contact to go anywhere. - They go out of their way to make sure your yearly review is bad so they don't have to justify a bonus. (No such thing as doing your job right!)

Pros

RBC can be a great place to work, but not the Leadership Development Program

Cons

The Leadership Development Program used to be a phenomenal initiative under the former management. However, after management was changed in 2019, the program went downhill. The new program Management is extremely controlling and do not have the best interest of candidates' careers in mind. They have no alignment with the Leadership Model framework and the One RBC philosophy, hindering career aspirations and limiting talent potential in the name of keeping a Program structure that doesn't allow Associates to pursue their dreams within the company. They have lost some of the most amazing Associates so far and keep losing talent day by day. Whenever individuals try to speak up for the good of RBC and LDP, they are seen as troublemakers and get silenced. RBC, do something about it! You are a phenomenal employer and the LDP Management is jeopardizing what you took years to build. Change the Management.
