Pros

Excellent benefits package, vacation time, flexibility with personal events. Pay was decent, but you should negotiate on the way in because it's difficult to get more than 1-2% raises without changing positions. Great bonuses.

Cons

Very difficult to advance career. Raises are small and not commensurate with positive reviews or training. Incompentent senior management. Lack of collaborative culture, and communication was terrible. Constant musical chairs game for management.

Pros

RBC is recognized as a top tier financial institution and there is a wide array of services they provide. The benefits are very good and you can learn a lot.

Cons

All the departments are very one sided. They know their role and only know how to do it. It seems as if managers are afraid when a young candidates gets hired and actually picks up quickly on the job that their job is in danger. Therefore they refuse to promote them in any way.
