Pros

It was so easy to get hire. It is still the largest bank in Canada. Many entry level positions and commission based positions are available.

Cons

The bank doesn't have any space for new trainees, but for somehow it still keeps hiring. RBC is less competitive than TD and Scotia.

Pros

Knowledgeable and diligent staff and you are constantly surrounded by like-minded individuals who are all striving to advance their current positions. Highly motivating atmosphere.

Cons

Hours can be incredibly long, especially for junior analysts. It is not uncommon to work 80+ hour weeks and it is difficult to get time off.
