Pros

Part time with very understanding senior management. I was able to work around my schedule which made it very convenient.

Cons

Some downsides were repetitive tasks and lack of direction. I would have preferred to learn more with my position with RBC.

Pros

- The benefits offered are great. They still currently match 401k contributions. - Global brand- 4th largest bank in North America.

Cons

I wouldn't count on career advancement. You will need to be happy with where you are at forever, but still be required to maintain a positive attitude everyday. You will be told to act like an assistant manager, but will not technically be one. Keep in mind, the work load dumped on you everyday will continue to grow. Also, you will not be paid an appopriate salary when compared with the work load and so called "assistant manager" title. The quarterly incentive can buy you a tank of gas for two weeks (hopefully you dont have a far drive). You will be "coached" on a weekly basis. You can sum up coaching to being beat down for not doing anything right...ever. You will also work with an Operations Effectiveness Advisor (OEA) in your region. An OEA can be a great resource to you, as long as they are competent. Don't expect extensive or even moderate training. They offer training classes in every state but Florida. The classes offered may as well be taught by a monkey. Dont expect any back office support. There are departments for everything but what you need.
