Pros

RBC Wealth Management strives to put a strong emphasis on customer service. This is important because in this day and age of Facebook and instant gratification, we tend to overlook "human" side of dealing with people. Pay was ok for my position level. The pay for managers and above were good.

Cons

The operations side of the firm never really encouraged personal growth. Its almost like managers wanted you to focus solely on your job. Every company wants you to think they support you to further your career path. But I never experienced any manager asking about my career objective. Don't bother asking for support in taking any series exams. "Its not in the budget" will be the response you'll get.

Pros

RBC is a strong company financially. Generally, the people in the Greenville office are terrific to work with. The home office is in a beautiful facility, and benefits are good.

Cons

The parent company is not committed to growth of the insurance company in the United States. The U.S. home office has been troubled by weak leadership at the top and within the distribution channels..
